300 Series Stainless Steel & 400 Series Stainless Steel::
302 & 304 Stainless Steel balls are an austentistic, unhardened stainless steel with excellent resistance to corrosion by oxidizing agents, most organic chemicals, food stuffs and sterilizing solutions.
304 stainless steel has a lower carbon content than 302 Stainless Steel. 304 is slightly magnetic. Ask us about our special packaging for surface protection. 316 Stainless steel balls provide resistance to sulfurous acid compounds and other highly corrosive environments. 316 Stainless Steel is used in the presence of sulfuric, phosphoric, and acetic acids. 316 is the least magnetic of the 300 series. Ask us about our special packaging for surface protection. 316 L Stainless Steels has the same properties as 316, except that it has a lower carbon content. It is easier to machine. 420 Stainless steel: With good corrosion resistance, higher hardness & magnetic in nature, 420 Steel balls having brighter surface finish finds application in special bearings and valves where corrosion reistance is required along with the wear resistance.420 B & 420 C Stainless Steel: Due to the high hardness together with the good resistance against corrosion makes the balls made in this material suitable for valves, special bearings and so on, in which the protectionwith rustproof-greases is poor or absent. 430 Stainless Steel: General purpose non-hardenable steel with good corrosion resistance. These balls find application in cosmetics, petroleum & chemical industry where the corrosion resistance is of prime importance & hardness is secondary.440 B & 440 C Stainless Steel: Having greatest hardness with the highest resistance to corrosion 440 stainless steel balls are the best for application on valves, bearings and ball pens.
